It can be used alongside medication in pets with conditions such as exocrine pancreatic insufficiency.
How does Tree Barks Powder work?
Tree Barks Powder is a fine fluffy powder which does something magic when it gets wet! It becomes almost blancmange-like, hence the name ‘slippery’ elm bark, and we all know how gooey marshmallows are... The moisture in the digestive tract is enough to cause this Tree Barks Powder transformation. It allows it to coat and soothe the stomach and digestive tract (emollient action), and slow down the passage of food. All this helps maintain normal absorption of nutrients and stools with a normal consistency.
Ingredients: Finely powdered slippery elm bark (50%), marshmallow root (40%) and white poplar bark (10%)
Administration: Give daily. Add 1 tsp per 10 kgs bodyweight to food (split this total daily amount between meals) or mix with liquid. This amount can be increased if required, based on individual response.
